Safe Card

Check the basic information about "safe card" package and the range of Bank Millennium Cards Insurance:
  • Safe Card - all payment cards besides Generali Millennium Visa

    The package is added to your card automatically. It protects your card, your cash and your expenses.

    The package includes:

    Insurance against unauthorized use of the card

    This insurance protects you in the event the card is used by an unauthorized person after the card has been lost or stolen, in Poland or abroad.

    If your card account has been charged with transactions made by an unauthorized person within 72 hours preceding the blocking of the card, PZU SA will cover the loss up to 150 EUR (single event).

    The insurance also includes reimbursement of documented costs of the issuance of new personal documents, the purchase of a wallet and the costs of the issuing of new cards by Bank Millennium in connection with a theft, robbery or loss up to 300 PLN.

    Insurance of cash against robbery

    This insurance offers you protection in the case of a robbery of cash withdrawn from an ATM with the use of your card.

    If you have withdrawn cash (or have been coerced to do it by force or threat), and then within 24 hours (in case of credit cards) or 12 hours (in case of debit cards) of the withdrawal you are robbed, PZU SA will cover the loss of cash.

    You are covered by insurance both in Poland and abroad. The insurance also includes reimbursement of documented costs of the issuance of new personal documents, the purchase of a wallet and the costs of the issuing of new cards by Bank Millennium in connection with their robbery up to 300 PLN.

    Purchase insurance

    Newly purchased products for which you have paid with your card in Poland or abroad are covered by insurance against their theft/loss or damage (cost of repair).

    If an incident is discovered within 60 days of the purchase, PZU SA will cover the damage.

    Lowest price guarantee insurance

    A product for which you have paid with your card is covered by lowest price guarantee insurance.

    If within 60 days (in case of credit cards) or 30 days (in case of debit cards) of the purchase you can find a printed advertisement (in the press, a shop ad or a catalogue) of an identical product at a lower price, PZU SA will cover the difference.


  • Generali safe card - Generali Millennium Visa only

    We are adding this package automatically to your Generali Millennium Visa card. It protects your card, your cash and your expenses.

    The package includes:

    Unauthorised card use insurance

    This insurance protects you against the effects of losing your card and its use by an unauthorised person both in Poland as well as abroad. If your card account has been debited with transactions performed by an unauthorised person within 72 hours before the card was reported lost/stolen - Generali T.U. S.A. will cover the loss up to EUR 150. Amounts above EUR 150, charged to the card account before its loss was reported will be covered by the Bank.

    The insurance also includes covering documented costs of issuing new personal documents, wallet purchase and costs of issuing new cards by Bank Millennium in connection with card theft, robbery or loss. Generali T.U. S.A. shall cover the costs of purchase of a wallet, issue of new cards and documents up to the amount of PLN 300.

    Insurance against robbery of ATM cash advance

    This insurance provides cover against the effects of robbery of a cash advance, which you withdrew from an ATM with your card, both in Poland as well as abroad. If you got a cash advance and then within the next 24 hours you were robbed of it - Generali T.U. S.A. will cover the loss of the cash up to PLN 1000.

    The insurance also includes covering documented costs of issuing new personal documents, wallet purchase and costs of issuing new cards by Bank Millennium in connection with the robbery (up to PLN 300).

    Shopping insurance

    Products for which you have paid with your card in Poland or abroad are covered by insurance against their burglary/robbery/loss or damage (cost of repair) as well as total destruction.

    If an incident is discovered within 30 days of the purchase, Generali T.U. S.A. will cover the damage up to PLN 1000.

    Lowest price guarantee insurance

    The product you have paid for with the card has cover, which guarantees its lowest price. If within 30 days from the event you notify Generali T.U. S.A. that you found a printed advertisement (in the press, shop advertisement or a catalogue) of an identical product for a price lower than the one you paid, then Generali T.U. S.A. will reimburse the difference up to PLN 500.

    Home assistance

    If any damage occurs in your place of residence as an effect of fortuitous event or theft, Generali T.U. S.A. will provde the help of specialists proper to the type of damage twice in an insurance year. If your place of residence would not meet the standards for further usage, oversight and transport of your property to a chosen location will be organized. In such cases, Generali T.U. S.A. will also provide transport to a chosen person for You and the other residents.


Travel

Check basic information about travel insurance:
  • Foreign travel insurance - all credit Cards besides Generali Millennium Visa

    If you are going to travel abroad for not more than 62 days from the moment you cross the Polish border, you will get travel insurance cover.
    Start of insurance cover is conditional on:

    • payment with the insured cardholder's card for an organised travel event if travelling with a professional carrier

    or

    • use of the insured cardholder's card abroad if travelling with means of transport other than a professional carrier.

    If the cardholder suffers an accident abroad, is suddenly taken ill or if another insured event occurs, before taking acting on his/her own, the cardholder should contact the 24/7 Generali Assistance Centre, calling +48 22 521 05 92.


  • Generali foreign travel insurance - Generali Millennium Visa only

    Generali Travel Insurance protects you and your luggage during your travel.

    • Travelling abroad? Bank provides you with a cheap travel insurance. You can have cover for maximum 60 days. Single trip cannot be longer than 30 days.
    • Insurance cover includes medical expenses, assistance and luggage protection, and begins from the moment of crossing Poland's border and lasts till crossing back this border.
    • In terms of personal accident insurance, the protection starts from the moment of leaving home/work place on your way abroad (you have to confirm the fact with air ticket, receipt of accommodation reservation, business trip confirmation), and ends with the moment of coming back to Poland. The Protection is not valid in Poland and in the country of Insured's residence.

Sure Payment

Check basic information about "Sure Payment" Insurance:
  • Sure Payment - all credit cards besides Generali Millennium Visa

    The sure payment insurance protects the Cardholder against financial difficulties related to card payment in case of job loss. In such a case PZU SA shall assume the obligation to pay the debt incurred on the card until the moment of job loss (up to the total of 10 000 PLN).
    This insurance covers also complete payment of the card account overdraft balance in case of the Cardholder's  death following an accident (up to 100 000 PLN).

     


  • Generali Sure Payment - Generali Millennium Visa only

    The Generali Sure Payment insurance protects the Cardholder against financial difficulties related to card payment in case of job loss.
    In such a case Generali shall assume the obligation to pay the debt incurred on the card until the moment of job loss (up to the total of 4 000 PLN).
    This insurance covers also complete payment of the card account overdraft balance in case of the Cardholder's demise following an accident (up to 100 000 PLN).


Assistance

  • Package Assistance Impresja - Millennium Visa Impresja and Millennium Mastercard Impersja

    The package Assistance Impresja is automatically added to every Millennium Visa Impresja and Millennium MasterCard Impresja card. To report service, get information on the infoline or use the services of a personal schedulekeeper, just call (+48) 22 205 50 58.

     

    Package Assistance Impresja covers 5 areas:

    • Car Assistance with automotive infoline

    Under Car Assistance, in case of a car breakdown or theft, key loss, battery discharge or empty fuel tank, or in case of a road accident - the Insurer shall provide assistance.

    Calling the infoline you will i.a. get information about how to get fastest to your destination, what to do in case of a road accident and what the weather forecasts are for your destination.

    • Medical Assistance and infolines: medical and "baby assistance"

    Medical Assistance guarantees protection to you and to your family. In this service, in case of bodily injury or health disorder resulting from an accident or sudden illness, you will get the assistance from your Insurer.

    The medical and "baby assistance" infoline will provide you with information i.a. about open pharmacies and medical outlets, healthy nutrition rules, preparation for treatment as well as information for young mothers or parents preparing for the birth of their first child.

    • Home Assistance

    Just relax with Home Assistance. If expert assistance is required due to theft, burglary or accident, the Insurer will arrange and pay for repairs.

    If you are planning to move or have a redo, with Home Assistance you get guaranteed help with assembly of appliances and transport of property.

    • Concierge for Women

    Prepared with Women in mind - Concierge includes i.a. assistance with arranging child care, a visit to a beauty parlour or health club as well as a professional photo session. At the same time Concierge for Women will also provide you with information about beauty treatment, alternative treatment methods and leisure activities.

    • Personal Schedulekeeper

    Upon you request we will keep your Schedule of important events and keep you informed about approaching special dates. Just call: (+48) 22 205 50 58 and specify the most important dates as well as how our Consultants are to remind you of them. With the Personal Schedulekeeper we will remind you of birthdays and other important dates regarding your family, about business meetings, appointments with the doctor, parents' meetings or deadlines for filing official documents.

  • Home Assistance Insurance - Generali Millennium Visa

    Generali Millennium Visa cardholders are covered by Home Assistance insurance.

    It protects against effects of accidents and burglary and also comprises in-house repair of electronic and electrical household appliances.Additionally it provides information about telephone numbers of specialists (e.g. electrician, locksmith etc.), information about phone numbers of pharmacies, hospitals as well as information about: medical centres, diets and healthy nutrition, information about infant care. There is also an opportunity to talk to the physician on duty.

    In case of occurrence of an insured event and before taking any action call the 24/7 Alarm Center at: (+48) 22 874 56 54 or 801 181 572.

    Note - during the call you will be asked to state the insured person's name, surname and PESEL number or other data necessary to provide the assistance service.

    If in result of an accident or burglary a loss arises, the Alarm Center will:

    • arrange and cover costs (up to amounts covered by the insurance) of transport and service of an appropriate specialist - locksmith, plumber, roofer, glazier, heating and air conditioning systems technician
    • arrange and cover costs of supervision of property if the nature and extent of the loss require supervision of property in the house
    • in case of repair of electronic and electric household appliances the Alarm Centre will arrange and cover costs of transport and service of the specialist
    • arrange and cover costs of transport of your property as well as you and your family to locations/persons, which you have indicated in Poland if your home is unfit for habitation

    The cost of the above assistance services shall be covered by the Alarm Centre up to the defined limit.

    If you want to use the services of a locksmith, plumber, electrician, roofer, glazier, carpenter, bricklayer, painter, tile layer or floor fitter, a moving company, in case of occurrence of an event the Alarm Center will provide you with information about relevant service providers.

    The Alarm Center will also enable you to talk to a physician on duty and will provide information about location, phone numbers and working hours of pharmacies and outpatient clinics in Poland.

Indemnity

What to do to get the indemnity?
  • Safe Card - all payment cards besides Generali Millennium Visa

    1. Contact Program Administrator: Powszechny Zakład Ubezpieczeń SA, tel. 801 798 798 or +48 22 566 57 98 to get all information and Claim Form.

    The claim must be made within 30 days after the incident occurred (or happened in case of Insurance of cash against robbery).

    2. Report the incident to the police within 48 hours after it has occurred and get a written confirmation of the report. (does not referred to Lowest price guarantee insurance).

    3. Complete a claim form and collect all necessary documents:

    • copy of a monthly bank account statement
    • if available, the confirmation of withdrawal from ATM ( in case of Insurance of cash against robbery)
    • the confirmation of a report filled in at the police (in case of Insurance against unauthorized use of the card and Insurance of cash against robbery)
    • a copy of the product purchase proof, a picture of the damaged product, a receipt from the repair shop (in case Purchase insurance)
    • card purchase confirmation, a copy of the product purchase proof, a printed advertisement of a lower price (in case of Lowest price guarantee insurance)
    • other documents which PZU SA or the Administrator considers necessary

    All documents should be delivered to the Administrator within 60 days of the incident to the address:

  • Generali Safe Card - Generali Millennium Visa only

    1. Call Generali T.U. S.A. at 801 343 343 or +48 22 543 0 543 to get all the information concerning the way of reporting the loss and the indemnification payment form.
    The loss should be reported within 30 days from the date of the event.

    2. Report the event to the police within 48 hours of its occurrence to get its written confirmation (in case of unauthorised card use insurance, cash robbery insurance and shopping insurance with the loss arising in result of a criminal offence).

    3. Fill-in the indemnification payment form and gather all required documents:

    • photocopy of a monthly billing statement or list of card transactions (in case of unauthorised card use insurance and cash robbery insurance)
    • confirmation of ATM cash withdrawal (concerns cash robbery insurance)
    • confirmation of reporting the event to the police (in case of in case of unauthorised card use insurance, cash robbery insurance and purchased goods theft insurance)
    • product purchase confirmation (e.g. cash receipt), confirmation of card payment, repair bill, photograph of damaged product (in case of shopping insurance)
    • product purchase confirmation (e.g. cash receipt), confirmation of card payment, printed advertisement with lower price (in case of lowest price guarantee insurance)
    • copies confirming purchase of other insurance (if applicable)
    • confirmation of wallet purchase cost (in case of unauthorised card use insurance)
    • other documents, which Generali T.U. S.A. may consider essential

    2. Submit the following documents:

    a) in case of job loss:

    • filled out PZU SA claim report from
    • unemployment certificate issued by competent labour office
    • copy of employment certificate verified against the original
    • before the monthly indemnity is paid, the unemployment benefit receipt or unemployment certificate, in case the statutory time limit for the benefit collection expired

    b) in case of Card Holder's demise following an accident (the documents shall be submitted by the authorised person):

    • filled out PZU S.A. claim report form with detailed description of accident circumstances
    • documents necessary to determine the rationale of the claim, inter alia: abridged copy of the death certificate, death cause certificate, if required - medical opinion, driving license
    • identification document of the authorised person

    1. Call within 14 days Generali, tel. 801 343 343 for comprehensive information about the claim reporting procedure.

    2. Submit the following documents:

    a) in case of job loss:

    • filled out Generali claim report from
    • unemployment certificate issued by competent labour office
    • declaration about having no job activity form the moment of getting unemployed
    • copy of employment certificate verified against the original
    • before the monthly indemnity is paid, the unemployment benefit receipt or unemployment certificate, in case the statutory time limit for the benefit collection expired

    b) in case of Card Holder's demise following an accident (the documents shall be submitted by the authorised person):

    • filled out Generali claim report form with detailed description of accident circumstances
    • documents necessary to determine the rationale of the claim, inter alia: abridged copy of the death certificate, death cause certificate, if required - medical opinion, driving license, accident report
    • identification document of the authorised person

  • Travel Insurance - all credit cards besides Generali Millennium Visa

    If during your travel abroad you suffer an accident, you suddenly fall ill or there is another incident covered by Assistance insurance, before you do anything, you should first contact Warta Assistance Emergency Center at: +48 22 570 47 22.

    After you have been connected, you should give the password "Warta Assistance", your name and phone number, the card type (e.g. Millennium Visa credit card), its number and validity date, name of the person to whom the card has been issued, the name of the place and phone number where Warta Assistance Emergency Center can reach you or your representative.

    If you have paid for hospital stay on your own, report it to Warta within 14 days after you have returned to Poland. Warta will reimburse you for documented costs based within the insurance coverage.

    If anything has happened to your luggage:
    a) secure:

    • damage evidence
    • destroyed or damaged goods to allow their inspection

    b) notify:

    the appropriate authorities or services of any incident of burglary or robbery and get a written confirmation of that fact
    Warta of the incident within 7 days after you have returned to Poland

  • Generali Foreign Travel Insurance - Generali Millennium Visa

    If you suffer an accident while travelling, you suddenly fall ill or there is another incident covered by Assistance insurance, before you do anything, you should first contact Centrum Pomocy Generali (24h) +48 22 874 56 54.

    After you have been connected, you should give your name, the card type (Generali Millennium Visa credit card), its number and validity date, name of the person to whom the card has been issued, the name of the place and phone number where Centrum Pomocy Generali can reach you or your representative. You have to explain in details the circumstances you are in and give the details of the help you need.

    If you have paid for hospital stay on your own (after the contact with Centrum Pomocy Generali), report it to Generali within 14 days after you have returned to Poland. Generali T.U. S.A. will reimburse you for documented costs based within the insurance coverage.

    If anything has happened to your luggage:
    a) secure:

    • damage evidence
    • destroyed or damaged goods to allow their inspection

    b)  notify:

    • the appropriate authorities or services of any incident of burglary or robbery and get a written confirmation of that fact
    • Generali of the incident within 14 days after you have returned to Poland
