About the deposit

Millenet Term Deposit is an Internet deposit that may be opened via Millenet for Individuals/Biznes or Millenet for Companies banking service.  Millenet Term Deposit is a deposit with a fixed interest rate, designed for investing funds in PLN as well as foreign currencies: USD, EUR or GBP. You can open Millenet Term Deposit also in Mobile Banking.

The relevant interest rate applies to the total balance. The interest rate is fixed and is capitalised after the contractual term. Millenet Term Deposit may be either renewable or non-renewable, and the minimum amount to open the Term Deposit account is, respectively: PLN 2,000, USD 200, EUR 200, GBP 200.

Funds deposited on accounts in the Bank, the total value of which funds does not exceed the equivalent of 100,000 EUR, irrespective of the number of accounts held in the Bank, are protected by Banking Guarantee Fund, in keeping with the Act of 10 June 2016 on Banking Guarantee Fund, system of protection of deposits and compulsory restructuring (Journal of Laws2016.996). Eligible for protection are deposits and receivables of entities indicated in art. 20 of the a/m Act.

How to open

By Millenet

  • log on to Millenet,
  • select Rachunki osobiste/Otwarcie Lokaty Millenet,
  • select the current account linked to the Millenet Term Deposit,
  • finally, read and accept the terms and conditions of the Agreement.

In Mobile Banking (Mobile Application and Mobile Millenet):

  • login to Mobile Application or Mobile Millenet,
  • go to Transactions > New term deposit,
  • select currency,
  • select term deposit details and confirm operation.
