You do not have the beneficiary’s account number but want to send the transfer fast? Send the transfer to the phone number, log on to the Bank Millennium mobile app and select Transfers > Phone number.
Step by step
Log on to the mobile application and select Settings > Phone number transfer to register your phone number and choose the account, to which the phone number transfers will be sent. Now you can send and also receive phone number transfers conveniently and quickly.
Go to Transfers > Phone number and choose the account, from which you want to send the transfer
Enter the recipient’s phone number (you can download it from contacts) and the amount. Click Next and then Approve the transfer.
The transfer recipient will immediately get information about the transfer. If the recipient’s number is also registered the money will go directly to the recipient’s account.
A phone number transfer is free of charge.
The service is available for phones powered by Android, iOS and Windows Phone.
Anyone can use phone number transfers. If the number is registered the money will be available on the bank account immediately. If the number is not registered the transfer recipient has to do the following:
- Log on to the Bank Millennium website using MilleKod (received in the message) and the single-use password (received from the transfer sender).
- State the number of the account, to which the phone number transfer is to be sent.
If the number is registered the money will reach the recipient’s account immediately. If the number is not registered then the time to complete the transfer after the recipient has logged on to Bank Millennium and stated the account number will be 1 business day at most.
Phone number transfers are secure; both the phone number service, as well as the app itself, have a number of essential security features.
To log on to the app and then confirm sending a phone number transfer each time the PIN number is needed.
To receive a phone number transfer it is necessary to earlier register the phone number or use the login received in a text from the Bank as well as the password received from the sender of the payment.
Additionally phone number transfers are capped by an amount limit – the maximum permitted amount of a single phone number transfer is PLN 500.
