MasterCard Prepaid Commercial cards are a solution for companies which want to transfer funds (in non-cash form) to their counterparties, employees or clients who either do not have bank accounts or for various reasons transferring funds to their accounts is impossible or unreasonable. This service is an ideal tool of transferring any types of benefits (e.g. holiday vouchers, allowances, scholarships), paying out advances for business trips or paying wages to temps.

Prepaid cards can constitute a perfect tool in support of any type of loyalty programmes, promotional programmes or marketing campaigns.   • 1. What to do to obtain Millennium MasterCard Prepaid Commercial card?

    Only a Bank Millennium current account holder who uses the Millenet online banking system can apply for a Millennium MasterCard Prepaid Commercial card. He concludes with the Bank a framework agreement for bank accounts and services and then submits an application for issuing prepaid cards and states in the application the number of cards and their basic parameters. There is no need to conclude a separate agreement for issuing and use of cards.

  • 2. How to set up a PIN for a card?

    After obtaining the card the user should sign it clearly with his or her name and surname and immediately define a PIN for it. To define a PIN for a card contact the automatic Prepaid Cards Remote Service at 801 341 341 or +48 22 598 41 41. After giving the last 8 digits of the card number and last 10 digits of the account number, the user will be asked to define his or her PIN number.

  • 3. How to activate a card?

    A card is activated automatically during the execution of the first operation with the use of a correct, earlier defined PIN code. 

    It is recommended that the first transaction be performed at a Bank Millennium ATM. During the first transaction the Bank's system automatically performs a number of parametrisation operations on the card, and the conducting of the transaction at the Bank's ATM guarantees their correct process. This is particularly important, if the card will also be used abroad.


  • 4. How to top up a Millennium MasterCard Prepaid Commercial card?

    Each card has its separate technical account in the NRB format. Thanks to this a card is topped up by a standard transfer to the card account. When applying for the issuing of cards the Client can decide if they are to be topped up only and exclusively from the Client's account at the Bank, or also by the card user.

  • 5. When can one perform a transaction with a card?

    After the card account is topped up with an appropriate sum of money the Millennium MasterCard Prepaid Commercial card becomes a fully functional payment card, which enables to perform in Poland and abroad:
    • Payments for goods and services purchased at vendors who display the MasterCard logo,
    • payments for goods and services purchased without the physical use of a card (e.g. by telephone, by letter or by Internet),
    • cash withdrawals at banks and ATMs which display the MasterCard logo.
    All operations executed with a card are settled on an on-going basis on the card's technical account. If a transaction currency differs from the account's currency, currency conversion is performed in accordance with the principles described in detail in the Bylaws of Prepaid Cards for Corporate Banking Clients at Bank Millennium S.A.

     


  • 6. How to check the balance and transactions executed by means of a Millennium MasterCard Prepaid Commercial card?

    Both the Client and User can check the details of a card.

    The Client may use Millenet to:

    • check the balance of funds available on each card's account,
    • check the list of all operations posted on card accounts.
    • top up the card,
    • change daily and monthly transaction limits,
    • cancel the card,
    • download electronic reports containing information about one's cards and operations executed on their accounts.

    A card user may monitor the card's balance and transactions performed with it through an automatic telephone Prepaid Cards Remote Service, which after logging enables:

    • checking the balance of funds available on the used card's account,
    • obtaining information about last 5 operations registered on the card account,
    • changing/unlocking the PIN code for the card,
    • defining/changing the mobile telephone number connected with the card for the MilleSMS service,
    • cancelling the card.

    Moreover, Bank Millennium ATMs are available to the card user, in which you can:

    • change the PIN code for the card,
    • check the balance of funds available on the used card's account,
    • obtain information about last 10 operations registered on the card account.

    He can also use the MilleSMS service, which allows to:

    • check the balance of funds available on the card's account,
    • obtain information about last 3 operations registered on the card account.

    Details on how to use the MilleSMS service are sent to each user in the cover letter sent together with a card.


  • 7. If a card is lost?

    If a card is lost or stolen, cancel it immediately.

    You can cancel your prepaid card:

    • through Millenet,
    • or call +48 22 598 41 14 – available 24/7 (give the 16-digit card number and full 26-digit card account number),
    • at any Bank Millennium outlet.

    A prepaid card can be cancelled by the user through:

    • the automatic Prepaid Cards Remote Service at  801 341 341 or +48 22 598 41 41 – just log in and select the „Card Cancellation" option,
    • call the number +48 22 598 41 14 – 24/7 telephone service (give the 16-digit card number and full 26-digit card account number).
