We present MAKRO Millennium Maestro, a debit partner card of Bank Millennium and MAKRO Cash & Carry, allowing to enter MAKRO halls thanks to printed barcode.
There are 3 different affinities available: blue, silver and gold, depending on MAKRO Customer card status.
Bank Millennium and MAKRO partner cards are the only cards accepted in MAKRO halls, in the same time supported in any other shop in Poland and worldwide, where MasterCard logo is displayed.

PAYPASS

Make small payments with the MAKRO Maestro contactless card without the need to confirm the transaction with your PIN or signature.
How does PayPass work?
- the amount to be paid is displayed on the PayPassTM reader,
- put your card close to the reader,
- you will hear a beep and four green LEDs will light up to inform you that the payment has been accepted,
- if the payment does not exceed PLN 50, you do not have to enter your PIN or sign the receipt,
- even if you put the card to the reader several times, the payment will be made only once!
Where can I pay with the PayPass card?
- places where you can make contactless payments is more and more and currently they are inter alia: McDonald's restaurants, Coffee Heaven cafes, Empik stores, Żabka and Fresh Market food shops, Kolporter press kiosks, Matras bookstores, Shell gas stations, Cinema City cinemas, Sferis computer stores, Douglas drugstores, Smyk stores and many other (you will find full list of retailers enabling making contactless payments at www.paypass.pl website),
- you could also pay with PayPass card during this year's 7 music and film festivals and it's also acceptable on chosen Ekstraklasa stadiums,
- MasterCard Impresja card also works as an ordinary payments card in every point of sale or ATM.
Remember, that with a contactless payment up to PLN 50 you do not enter your PIN. Above PLN 50 you have to confirm the transaction with PIN.
Convenience and security of contactless payments
- you do not have to look for an ATM or carry small change,
- you do not have to give the card to the retailer, you always have it in your hand,
- you do not use PIN with payments below PLN 50, so no one will steal or see your PIN,
- if you lose the card, you block it immediately and it will not work,
- you can use contactless card at all retailers who accept MasterCard or Maestro cards worldwide because the card also has a chip and a magnetic stripe.

CASH BACK
Paying with the card for shopping made at merchants identified with the Maestro Cash Back logo you can get a cash withdrawal up to PLN 200. The amount will debit your available daily transaction limit.
What is Cash Back?
Cash back is a service, thanks to which the holders of Millennium Maestro debit cards may easily get small amounts of cash (up to PLN 200) from a shop cash desk, e.g. in a supermarket, at a petrol station or other shop when paying with the card for daily shopping. Retail points offering the Cash Back service can be found in whole Poland.
How to get Cash Back?
Getting Cash Back is easy - when paying for shopping with your Millennium Maestro card just tell the shopkeeper that you also want cash, then state the amount and confirm the transaction (with the PIN number). Naturally to get the Cash Back amount you need to have an appropriate balance on your personal account.

HOW TO GET
HOW TO GET A DEBIT CARD?
It is very simple. Apply via Bank Millennium Customer Service Point in each MAKRO hall.
IMPORTANT: please remember to bring your MAKRO customer card and your ID when applying for MAKRO Maestro card.
After the application has been approved the card will be mailed to you, or you can collect it from Bank Millennium Customer Service Point in MAKRO.
For security reasons the card is inactive. To make full use of its functionality just activate in an ATM, by phone, online in Millenet or during any standard POS transaction using the PIN number.

HOW TO RESTRICT
IN THE BANK
In case of card loss or theft you must immediately block it.
Just call the special phone number dedicated for blocking all the credit cards of Bank Millennium:

You can always block the card at any time when e.g. when you fear that someone may use it without your knowing it.
Card theft should be reported promptly to the local Police and a copy of the report delivered to a branch of Bank Millennium in order to get a compensation.
You can also call the nearest bank bearing the logo of the appropriate card organisation to block the card.
Remember!
- Quick block of the card will prevent losses, which may be caused by its use by unauthorised persons.
- Write down the card number in the Card Cancellation Manual - it will be helpful when cancelling the card.
- The Manual and the card should be kept separately. Thus in case of card loss you will be able to have it cancelled immediately.
- For your own safety do not keep the card together with the PIN number and do not write the PIN number on the card to prevent unauthorised use.
- You can change the PIN number in any Millennium or Euronet ATM.
- You can get unauthorised card use insurance. Thanks to this you have a guarantee of coverage of a loss up to EUR 150 if an unauthorised person debits your card account within 72 hours prior to its cancellation. Card account debits in excess of EUR 150 made before card cancellation are covered by the Bank (under the Electronic Payment Instruments Act), which also assumes full liability for transactions done after the card was cancelled.
