SMSP@ssword
SMSP@sswords are a one-time codes sent by SMS to your mobile phone. SMSP@sswords are used to approve transactions in the system of internet banking for private customers/business.
What are the advantages SMSP@sswords ?
- Security. SMSP@sswords are unique for each operation. It can only approve the operation, for which the system has generated them. In addition, increases safety used two separate devices, which are: computer with Internet access and mobile phone.
- No additional costs. SMSP@sswords are sent for a mobile phone. SMSP@sswords are payed by the bank.
- No need to memorize passwords. Bank sends SMSP@sswords always when you will perform an operation needed to generate the SMS.
- SMSP@asswords can be activated any time you will need it.
Security certificates
Safety Millenet system provides encrypted transmissions using 256-bit SSL guarantees security and confidentiality of data.
The information about the encryption method is prefix https:// in the begining of the webpage address.
Security rules
Security rules which need to be prevented in order to maximize safety of your transactions:
- Whenever you use the mobile web version of Bank Millennium, remember to make sure whether the padlock symbol is visible providing the encrypted connection with a bank (SSL).
- Never save your data in Internet browser and never give out your data (millekod, password, SMSP@sswords).
- Do not enter confidential data (id, code, password) from the phone or device which is accessible for a lot of people. There is a risk that on the phone can be installed programs which can capture our data.
- Always log out after you are done working with mobile web version.
- For security reasons is not recommended using Opera Mini. The combination of using that browser is done by proxies Opera, which operate on unencrypted data, thus it can pose a serious threat to customers of Bank Millennium.
Daily limit
Daily transaction limit defines the amount limit for transactions executed in a specific day and is limited up to 10 000 PLN (the restriction concerns domestic transfers and topping-up mobile phone)
Reducing daily limit of mobile web version does not have an influence on the amount of daily limit available through the Millenet.
