MilleSMS settings in Millenet

Before start using MilleSMS notifications please make appropriate service settings in Millenet MilleSMS > Notifications > Before event/After event. Then define the products and services that will be inluced in SMS notification service.

MilleSMS transaction settings in Millenet

Before making transaction orders using SMS you should use appropriate settings in Millenet in MilleSMS > Operations > Transactions section. You need to define source account that you can use for SMS Transactions. You can also set alias to source account to be used in the SMS.
While definig account alias you shall beat in mind that alias:

  • must always start with a letter
  • must not contain Polish characters
  • must not contain special characters apart the following + - . , _
  • must not be longer than 15 characters

Then you need to define beneficiaries which aliases you will use to post transactions. If the beneficiary is not yet on the list you can add it in a simple way on SMS Transactions screen. Then you need to input 26 digit account number and its alias. The alias will be used in the transfer also as beneficiary name.

How to post transfers using SMS?

You shall send SMS Transactions to the number +48 601 767 767 (+48 601 SMS SMS)

MilleSMS inquieries settings in Millenet

Before using SMS inquiries service you must define appropriate settings in Millenet in MilleSMSOperations Inquieries section. You must define the source accounts which will be used in SMS transactions. In order to facilitate the order sending process you can define alias which will be used in orders sent via SMS.

While definig account alias you shall beat in mind that alias:

  • must always start with a letter
  • must not contain Polish characters
  • must not contain special characters apart the following + - . , _
  • must not be longer than 15 characters

How to use SMS inquieries service?

SMS inquieries are sent to +48 601 767 767 (+48 601 SMS SMS).  

Inquiry for available balance of the account or credit card

If in SMS inquiry we send S letter then we will receive the information about all accounts defined in SMS Inquiries section (in case if more than three accounts were defined the information about first three will be sent). If additionally we will input alias or last 10 digits of the account into SMS inquiry - response will cover only that account.

MilleSMS Top-ups settings in Millenet

In the menu option Mobile top-up you will find functions, which will enable you to recharge account of any pre-paid mobile phone.
Using the option Perform top-up you can top-up any mobile phone - the only thing that you need to know is the phone number and operator name.
If you recharge a particular phone number more often, use the option "Add" in the last screen of the top-up process in order to record it in the system. Then, it is enough to choose the defined top-up from the list of aliases.
Please remember that aliases:

  • must not contain Polish characters,
  • must not contain special characters, apart from the following + - . , _
  • must not be longer than 15 characters.

In order to define a top-up you can also use the option Add top-up. While setting the parameters of a defined top-up you can mark it as "Trusted", which means that you will not be asked for Password SMS, independently of the top-up amount. This status works in a similar way to Trusted Beneficiaries.

If you check the option "Enabled for SMS Top-ups" you will make it possible to top-up this mobile phone via MilleSMS. Detailed information about MilleSMS setup and usage can be found in the sections: MilleSMS top-up settings > MilleSMS Top-ups. You can manage your defined top-ups through List of defined top-ups and Details of defined top-ups.
Currently it is not possible to perform mobile phone top-ups during the night - normally between 10:00 p.m. and 05:00 a.m. Monday to Saturday.
There is no charge for top-ups performed through Millenet.

How to top-up a mobile?

MilleSMS Top-ups shall be sent to free-of-charge number 8058. Mille SMS top-up orders sent to this number and replies to top-up orders are free. For top-up orders sent to the +48 601 767 767 (+48 601 SMS SMS) number and replies a standard MilleSMS transaction charge will be applied.
